Today we closed our second session of camp for the 2012 season. Looking back at the past four weeks, it’s a blur of non-stop excitement and activity, of heartfelt relationships forming, really great food, and the kind of fun that can’t be easily duplicated anywhere else. After reading this blog and following the daily photo gallery, and now as your girls return home full of stories, connected to so many wonderful people, and embodying a true love for camp, we hope you can also sense their stronger self-confidence, greater independence and deeper kindness. It’s astonishing to think how much these qualities will serve them well later in life!
Thank you everyone for helping to make this session so fantastic. We are looking forward to seeing all of you next summer here in the Heart of a Wooded Mountain.
